A modern detached single storey industrial/production facility in Newtown has been sold after attracting best and final offers.

Unit 38 at the Mochdre Industrial Estate, a convenient location with good access to the main road networks, generated much interest.

The Shrewsbury office of Towler Shaw Roberts, has completed the sale to a local company as part of its expansion plans.

The property, which also features integral offices and staff accommodation, extends to 22,061 sq ft in total.

The production area, with an eaves height of approximately five metres, offers spacious open plan facility with roller shutter access doors to both the front and side of the building.

Externally, the property boasts a separate yard incorporating a container loading ramp and access via security gates to the front and separate on site car parking facilities.

Toby Shaw, a partner at TSR, said: “This is a distinguished property, providing just over 22,500 sq ft, with onsite car parking and loading facilities. “We put it on the market inviting offers in the region of £700,000 and the property stimulated considerable interest both locally and from companies further afield and has been sold to a local company as part of their expansion programme.”

“This sale is a reflection again of the strong demand there is for industrial properties in the Mid Wales region, particularly in Newtown, also helped by the fact the town’s new bypass will be opening shortly.”
