The owners of an established Shrewsbury boutique have acquired a row of three Grade II Listed mid-terraced buildings in the heart of the town centre as a unique commercial investment opportunity.

Oberon Boutique, a women’s clothes shop which also specialises in jewellery & accessories, has occupied a prominent spot in Shrewsbury’s Wyle Cop, the town’s leading independent shopping street, for more than 30 years.

The business, established in 1985, provide fashion-forward styling in clothing, accessories, handbags, jewellery and footwear.

They have purchased 61-63, and 63A, Wyle Cop as an investment.

It incorporates three individual self-contained retail units, two already occupied by Oberon, the other by a sandwich shop, as well as a first floor apartment.

The premises are located in a highly sought after location within Shrewsbury town centre among a number of independent and boutique retailers.

Offers in the region of £285,000 had been invited.

Toby Shaw, who completed the sale for Towler Shaw Roberts, said: “The owners of the Oberon Boutique have purchased the whole building as an exciting investment opportunity. It’s in an excellent location and there was a high level of interest.

“This will also provide added security for their business as Oberon also have a unit on the opposite side of Wyle Cop.”
